The Department of Chemistry at University of Calicut invites you to join us for the National Seminar on Frontiers in Chemical Sciences-2020 (FCS-2020) which will be organized by the department during 29 -31 January 2020 at the Aryabhatta Hall, University of Calicut.

Scope

FCS-2020 provides a platform for scientists, researchers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from India to present their findings /results of their research and innovation activities related to Chemical Sciences focused on Electro chemistry and Materials Science. The conference is expected to bring together the leading researchers working on emerging frontiers of chemical sciences leading towards fruitful discussions and collaborations.

The topics of interest include but not limited to

Electrochemistry (Different aspects of electrochemistry, Electro analytical techniques, Electrodics, Electro catalysis, Membrane electrochemistry, Fuel cells, Supercapacitors, Solar cells, Batteries, Spectroelectrochemistry, Electrochemical Sensors and Actuators, Electro-synthesis, Corrossion science etc.

Advanced Functional Materials (Nanomaterials and their applications, Nanofluids, Magnetic nanomaterials, Materials for energy and environmental applications, Carbon nano materials, Meta materials, Biomaterials, Smart materials and structures for advanced applications, Advance polymeric materials, Material modeling etc.)

Abstract Submission

All interested participants are requested to submit the abstract using the prescribed template available here or by sending directly to the e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. All submitted papers should be the original work and should not be under review by any other conferences.

Registration fee 

Interested participants are requested to register through the format available online on or before 17^th January 2020. The payment may be made at the registration desk during the seminar. Registration fee includes conference materials, refreshments and lunch.

Accommodation/Hotel reservation

Limited number of accommodation will be provided to the participants at university guest house at their own cost. They are requested to contact the conference convener on or before 20 January 2020.
